Legendary Aussie rocker & new Max recruit Jimmy Barnes made a memorable performance in the Sydney Opera House in early August.
In one of the best Max Sessions yet, Jimmy rocked the room with a mixture of Cold Chisel classics, solo hits and new tracks. A family operation, Jimmy was backed by his son on drums, and daughters on vocals – plus string and horn orchestral sections.
Helmed by Michael ‘Jacko’ Jackson, the six-camera shoot was recorded to Digital Betacam, and included dolly & Jimmy Jib. Matthew GORMLY held duties lighting & recording the primary interview, and was positioned front left of stage for the performance.
Previous Max Sessions Matt’s worked on include INXS, Bernard Fanning, Ed from Live, and jazzman Jamie Cullum.
