HOLLYOAKS EXTREME

Matt Milburn & Roxanne McKee, two cast members from Channel 4 UK's hit teen-drama 'Hollyoaks' (T4), visited Australia in March for the filming of an "Extreme Challenge" special.

Tested to the absolute limit over a ten-day period, Matt & Roxy faced challenges from swimming with menacing sharks, feeding ferocious wildlife, feats of height, tests of skill and stamina – all whilst battling extreme weather conditions. Failure to meet pre-determined goals saw the duo pay the consequences, whilst success would ultimately earn them 5-star luxury in a prestige resort.

Filming took place in Sydney, Melbourne, Torquay & Tasmania, with Matthew Gormly (DP) & Jason Wagner (Sound) crewing the Digital Betacam production. Additional DVcam's & specialty rigs enhanced the coverage of the swiftly paced job. Word from the edit suite is that all is going exceptionally well, with the special ready for an Easter airing in the UK.
